Terms of use

These terms govern use of the LaserTube website and the material published here. Using this site means you accept the terms below and any applicable South African law.

1. Using this website in a lawful way

Access to this website is provided for information about fibre laser tube and profile cutting machines, support services and related technical topics. You may browse pages, submit an enquiry through our contact page and review published information for your own business use.

Do not use our site to disrupt its operation, upload malicious code, try to gain unauthorised access, or place excessive load on our systems. You must also not use the site for unlawful, misleading or abusive activity.

  • Do not copy pages for resale or publication without written permission.
  • Do not misrepresent LaserTube, Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd or any member of the team.
  • Do not submit false details in an enquiry or otherwise misuse the contact process.

2. Technical information and machine guidance

The site may describe tube cutting, profile cutting, nesting software, chucks, bevel heads, assist gases, safety controls and related machine functions. That material is general industry information and is not a substitute for a site assessment, machine specification review or commissioning plan prepared for your operation.

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but machine configurations vary by application, material grade, tube size and production layout. Before purchase or installation, final machine details must be confirmed against the project requirements, available space and the fabricator’s process.

  • Round, square and rectangular tube cutting may need different chuck setups.
  • Angle and channel sections can require specific clamping and nesting choices.
  • Bevel cutting, gas selection and edge finish depend on the job specification.

3. Quotations, enquiries and project discussions

Any request sent through our contact page is treated as an enquiry only. It does not create a contract, reservation, supply obligation or service appointment until the commercial and technical details are agreed in writing.

Where a project is discussed, the final scope may include site assessment, delivery rigging, machine installation, commissioning, operator training, nesting training, preventive maintenance, chuck alignment, bevel calibration, assist gas setup, remote diagnostics or breakdown response. The exact scope depends on the machine selected and the conditions at the customer’s premises.

  • Project documents should describe the tube sizes, section types and daily output required.
  • Electrical, floor loading, access and lifting conditions may affect installation planning.
  • Training covers the agreed machine and the agreed production process only.

4. Prices, orders and third-party costs

Any price shown on the site, in a proposal or in supporting material is provided for guidance unless expressly stated otherwise. Final pricing may change when the specification changes, when accessories are added or when transport, rigging or special setup needs arise.

Third-party costs such as transport, lifting equipment, consumables, gases or civil work are the responsibility of the customer unless a written agreement says otherwise. No order is binding until accepted in writing by the relevant party.

  • Transport arrangements may differ between Wadeville, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein and Nelspruit.
  • Consumables and assist gases are normally tied to the machine specification and production method.

5. Intellectual property and site material

All text, layout, photographs, diagrams, service descriptions and other material on this website belong to the relevant rights holder and may not be copied, altered, distributed or reused without permission. This includes content prepared for machine descriptions, service pages and technical explanations.

You may print or save material for internal reference in connection with a genuine enquiry or purchase discussion, provided that the material is not changed and is not used for any misleading purpose.

6. Liability limits and website availability

LaserTube offers this website as it stands, without a promise of uninterrupted access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error free content or complete compatibility with every browser, device or network condition. Information may be updated, removed or corrected without notice when operational needs require it.

Within the limits of South African law, LaserTube and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd bear no responsibility for lost production or knock-on costs where published machine information was used without an engineering check.

  • Users remain responsible for checking the suitability of any machine for their own process.
  • Project decisions should be based on written specifications and site conditions.

7. Governing law and contact point

South African law governs these terms. Any disagreement tied to site use, posted material, or an enquiry sent through the site must be handled within that legal framework.

Legal or commercial concerns can be raised through the contact form, quoting the project reference or the machine involved. With that reference we can pass the matter to the right person, whether the question is commercial or technical.
